Angular heads
ROMAI angular heads increase the efficiency of your
production: they enable the machining of workpiece areas that are otherwise
inaccessible (e.g. inside machining), also the 5th workpiece side. Thus
angular heads reduce the number of mountings and set up times. Mistakes caused
by many changes of the work mounting will be reduced. ROMAI angular
heads are suitable for all common machine types as machining centers with
automatic or manual tool change, and special machines with fixed adoption.
Our angular heads are ideally designed for their purpose,
depending on the application. For fine machining applications with high output
speed we assemble free-from-play pre-stressed precision spindle bearings.
For rough machining applications with a high output torque we use free-from-play
pre-stressed tapered roller bearings. For smooth running and high power
transmission the bevel gear wheels are helical toothed (Klingelnberg or
Gleason), flank-ground and lapped.
For many machining problems we can provide surprisingly
elegant and smart solutions. Send an
inquiry or get in
contact with us and lets
work together on a solution for your requirements. ROMAI has got the expertise
and experience.
